Does anyone know about how much a yorkie puppy would cost? Like an average or something.

Depending on where you live is what you will pay. If you live in the the North East of the US you will pay upwards of $2500. Mid-west a female will run $800-$1000 and a male will run $700-900. The tinier the dog the higher the price from there. I am not familiar with west coast prices. These prices are for pet quality only pups. If you choose to get an older dog 6 months or older you could pay slightly less, but not much. Yorkies are high maintenance too. Routine grooming and you need to understand hypoglycemia before aquiring one. They are sweet and hysterical in their antics. A fun dog to have.

In the US you can look toward paying as much as $1000 for a pure-bred dog.

Before you buy, make sure you know what you want with the dog. Are you looking at breeding or showing, or just a lap dog? If you're not planning on breeding but want the cute look, you don't have to pay a whole lot of attention to the dog's conformation. Expect to pay $500 - $800, but dismiss anything more expensive for a companion.

500-600 dollars but DON'T GET IT FROM A PET SHOP OR PUPPY MILL. These dogs tend to have all kinds of things wrong with them. Go to a private seller, and get papers to be sure.

is your last name kuffel? and usually they go from 600-2,000 on average for a young one... you can sometimes get old ones or ones that have some kind of special need or something for a bit less... they're often in the newspaper

you would spend anywhere from about $400-$1100 on average.....just be careful where you get it from...make sure that the breeders are trustworthy.
