Here's a list of uninhabited islands. You posted this in the Asia/Pacific section, so these would fit your needs:
Astola - Pakistan
Birnie Islands - Kiribati
The Brothers - Hong Kong
Caroline Island -Kiribati
Green Island - Hong Kong
Malden Island - Kiribati
Manuae - Cook Islands (French Polynesia)
Moho Tani - Marquesas
Nikumaroro - Kiribati
Oeno Island - Pitcairn Island
Okitorishima - Japan
Pulau Tiga - Malaysia
Rock Islands - Palau
Senkaku Island - (disputed between China and Japan, currently governed by Japan, but uninhabited)
Starbuck Island - Kiribati
Tetepare Island - Solomon Islands

The Philippines comprise of 7107 islands (countries comprising many islands are called an Archipelago) whilst Indonesia comprises an even greater number in excess of 17,000 (17,508 is a recent figure but the number changes as some a volcano's that will appear whilst maybe others disappear after earthquakes). If you google sites about either country I am sure you will find an island that is deserted on which you can do your report. Good luck.
