Actually, I AM serious. This is a topic that was brought up in my genetics class. My professor has said that somewhere someone believes they might be able to trace the DNA of Jesus. Something about a child from him and Mary Magdalene..seriously. Apparently DNA can be preserved for a LOOONG time.

I can reccomend some reading material for you that may help. Check out Evidence That Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell and The Case For Christ by Lee Stroebel. If your open I would recommend the book of John or Matthew in the Bible. The above mentioned books OTHER than the Bible deal on a scientific and historical level with the life of Jesus. Scientifically and historically the life of Jesus and the validity of the Bible can be proven without one drop of theology. Also another book by Lee Stroebel really puts that whole Mary and Jesus MYTH to rest from the DaVinci Code. I own the book and its meant for discussion groups. Its a fairly short read. I think its called Decoding DaVinci. I challenge you to indulge your intellect and research this for yourself. You may be very suprised by the result!

If your body was never discovered, do you think anyone could prove your exist with DNA in 2000 years. Do you expect some people to be carrying around Jesus DNA? Maybe you expect some strands to say Jesus on them.

Jesus burial shroud was found. I believe it was in a fire but still exists. I believe they don't want to do testing on it because of the damage already there they don't want to damage it any further. Also, no where in the Bible is it said that Jeseus was married or had a chlld. It is known that if it doesn't say it in the Bible or a story contradicts what we read in the Bible that story is not true and is mammade, or someone eles's own opinion or belief.

Ok first of all. There is no proof the Jesus ever had a child. Secondly, he died for our sins. In order for him to do that he had to be sin free. The Bible acutallly states this. So last I knew premarital sex was infact a sin. And then to find DNA evidence from Jesus himself. How can you find evidence of something that is no longer on Earth. Jesus took his body and DNA evidence with him back to Heaven. I hope that this helps! God Bless!
