I've finally got into drinking the recommended 64oz/day of water because it's good for my health AND my skin... what else should I be using to help clear my skin from old acne marks? I've also started eating healthy. Thanks.

Try treating the area with vitamin E and exfoliating once a week or getting a professional skin treatment that will exfoliate and renew your skin.

Am going though a similar problem. In fact i have a huge pimple on my chin as i write but i only have a few blemishes that people dont really notice ... they have become lighter with the use of Neutrogena Acne mark fading peel ... you should try that along with water and multivitamins. Also rub vitamin E from the capsule onto your scars .. some people swear by that and say it works wonders. In the mean time conceal your marks with good old minerals makeup. Go on everydayminerals.com it is brilliant for acne and blemishes

i imagine water is the acceptable element you could drink. you could nicely be protecting it because you could nicely be taking in too a lot salt or too a lot sugar. some thing else would have extra energy than water. verify your salt and sugar intake. you would no longer comprehend how a lot salt/sugar are in some issues verify the labels and observe the contents of elements. If uncertain ask your wide-spread practitioner. from time to time one merchandise will be reason the problem. in case you drink bottled water verify the label. some manufacturers have further issues that you do not favor.

Old acne scars? Nothing. They are scars. The only thing you can do for those is to see a dermatologist. They have treatment options. Dermabrasion, laser treatments. Yes, expensive.

Don't put anymore scars on your face by NEVER picking/popping/squeezing your pimples. Just don't touch your face. It just spreads all the bacteria.
