I've never had a dog to train on my own and I need help! My dog can be really sweet, but he's spoiled rotten. If I repeatedly take him out, he'll pee outside but then he'll come back in to poop. How do I get him to understand he needs to pee and poop outside instead of in the house?
The other problem I'm having with him is he loves to chew. He has plenty of toys and usually doesn't bother other things but one thing he seems to love to do is rip my kitchen floor up..
He also loves to climb up the couch and onto the counter. How do I stop this? I don't mind that he's on the couch, but he loves to get on the counter and drink from the sink. This he picked up on his own. I've repeatedly smacked him for this behavior, but nothing seems to help?
Also, since I work 9 hour days and can't be around to watch him, he stays in a crate. However, he frequently pees in his crate during the day. How can I stop this so I don't have to come hom

I don't beat him or anything.. And who has money to take him to obedience classes? Not to mention the closest place that actually has those is probably 2-3 hours away. I'm asking for advice on how I can do it myself. If I wanted someone else to do it, I wouldn't be here asking, I'd just take him somewhere.

I had one in each and every of my canines for 13 years. no remember what i attempted to instruct her, she'd ignore approximately me and could on no account show the trick i attempted to instruct her. even nevertheless, something my son taught her at any age she replaced into, she'd learn it after 2 circumstances. Animals have their very own personalities and that they are very very reminiscent of people. Smarter than we supply them credit for and that they are basically as obdurate as we are in the event that they decide for to be. perhaps that dogs basically does not take your cousin heavily like my dogs on no account took me heavily.
