Here's something really easy. Let your body guide you. Eat when you're hungry but be sure to stop eating when you're not hungry anymore. So that means no pigging out. Just eat until you're pleasantly satisfied, and safe the rest for your next meal. Most people eat way more than their body requests, so you will lose weight this way.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Consume the recommended 6-8 glasses of water everyday. Snack on fruit during the day for a quick hunger buster. When it comes to lunch or dinner, you'll eat less. Make sure you have a healthy, hearty breakfast. Stop eating carbs after 5pm, drop the sodas and other junkfood (like crisps and takeout!). Take the stairs at work and walk to wherever you want to be for exercise.

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body sculpting so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! 12 hour shifts are diet killers! I would recommend always eating small portions instead of meals and space them at about 3-4 hours each. I also think the South Beach diet is the best thing I have run across in all my dieting efforts (I have been fighting the bulge since I was 12, I am notw 21)

Just adjust your cycle for the nights you have to work. That's a pretty weird schedule though. You would be better off if you worked nights every day, or not at all. Your body is going to be pretty confused at first.
Bust best of luck, I am sure you will find something that works. And remember it's not when you eat it's how much. So try going for five smaller meals a day. That way if you have to miss one or something you won't be starving.

It doesn't matter what you eat as long as it's organic. Our mainstream food supply is full of hormones, steroids and antibiotics - that's the reason why we're the fattest people on earth. Now that does not mean that you should consume a dozen exra large pizzas in one sitting. Eat organics and stop when you're satisfied - not stuffed.

Here's a good rule of thumb, Only eat when you get hungry, and when that time comes, only eat a small to medium size meal. Make sure to drink plenty of water though. That always seems to help when trying to lose weight.

As long you eat healthy, there is no reason why you can't have a snack or two at work. Fruits and vegetables are a great snack when you are trying to loose weight.

Cut out junk food, try to jog or work out before going to work.
