There is not a scientific explanation for "everything" - every day people get cured and diseases mysteriously disappear, including all traces of it along with it and medical minds are dumbfounded. Many scientists and statisticians concede that there are no scientific or statistics that can explain why some things happen. This is why many are not atheists. HOW can a man's sperm and a female egg make a baby. Let man recreate it. They can put the two together in a Petri dish but let man put in the essential life-giving elements into the sperm and egg and there is no formula or clue that man has as to how God does it. I met my future husband in circumstances that are statistically unbelievable for such an event to happen. I have had many many miracles happen in my life that there is no logical reason for it happening. Man has theories, not explanations. Plus an explanation is not true just because you can explain something. "The gods are bowling" is an explanation for thunder but it is not real... I hope. Just cuz a scientist can explain something doesn't mean he can create it and that is the difference between God and man.

First, there is not a scientific explanation for everything, from ordinary and everyday questions to the biggest of them all - how life came from non-life.
But those things that have a genuine scientific explanation (not speculation), of which there are are a virtually uncountable number, are God's gifts, found by some grateful and some ungrateful men.
The fact that a human scientist can make a discovery or invention in no way denies the existence of God.

Your religious is scientific. You are superinsitution of scientific. I can say that you are not real scientific who have so many thing are not proof yet and only a theory. They still want more thing to side proof the theory. When something hit into senses, especially the psychology, mental problem which are not visual or audio or feel or taste or touch. Still now there is no physician can use pill to heel mental problem. They can only let them unconciously sleeping , stop their action but not thinking. To heel mental problem and psychology, there is still a long way to run. May be some of the Budhaist sutras can help.
Visubondu had some sutras talking about psychology so deep in and so analyst.
Body and spirit are interreactive. I hope one day, human being can go into the mental patient's mind and heel the root of painful.

Science actually began as a study of "Gods work" and any scientific finding they would view as how God made it so. It has just been fairly recently that science is now looked at as disproving God. Thanks to the introduction to the theory of Evolution. But another thing to consider is that science is self correcting, it is undebateable the science changes its view all the time. Science is said to be "self-correcting" so if science is correcting itself all the time then that means it is wrong a lot. And Science actually hasn't explained everything a lot of things are just generally excepted as fact because the proposal makes sense and they can not know 100% for sure.

There is?!?!?! I think not!
For instance, on the news this morning they talked about an infant that was born 2 year ago, ill and premature. He died. He heart didn't beat for 30 minutes. The doctors had his parents in the room to say their good byes to him and then the baby moved and started to breath and opened his eyes. He is 2 now and healthy and happy. The doctors could NOT explain what happened. Miracle of prayer?
Where did the two tiny atoms come from that banged into each other in order to start the universe?
How could the man survive after a railroad tie went through his head and completely speared his brain from under his jaw area to the opposite? No doctor has ever been able to explain how he survived and lived for years afterward with a hole in his head that was 3 inches in circumference. Miracle?
Scientists haven't been able to explain how the lifeforms in the great depths of the oceans can live under such great water pressure and with tiny, thin bodies. Maybe God was such a great designer that He is able to create such animals and organisms to live there.?
People have been cured of diseases when their doctors can't explain how. Miracles?

Ther most certainly is NOT a scientific explanation for everything. Theories abound, but there isn't even a theory for every "thing".
Besides, even if there *was* an explanation for everything, your premise is faulty. The existance of God is not mutually exclusive with perfect knowledge.
