After trying countless diets and diet pills... which all seem to work until you stop doing them :) I found a diet called CRON's.. it restricts your calories and pretty much lets you eat all the good foods. You can Google it to learn more about it.. they say the concept has picked up on the east and west coast. Not calling it a diet.. because when you do.. its like you start thinking about all the things you CANT eat.. its more of a lifestyle change. It definatley works :)

Eat a nutritionally balanced diet and exercise daily. Keep your calorie intake to 1500 per day (10% in fat, 30% in protein and 60% in complex carbohydrates). Include 10 servings of fruits and vegetables daily. Drink one gallon of water daily. Exercise full out for 30 minutes daily. If you can do this and maintain it and you still are not losing and keeping off the weight lower your calories to 1300 per day and see how that works. If you are able to do that for several months and are doing fine, but still want to lose more weight lower to 1100 calories.

Stope eating sweets and anything that contains sugar, even drinks with sugar, always carefully read the ingredients list. Drink a lot of water, it helps to have a bottle of water near you at all times so you could drink a bit whenever you think of food. Don`t skip meals. Eat breakfast, lunch and supper, always. Don`t eat greasy foods. If you don`t like meat, just exclude it from your diet. If you like it, choose lamb instead of beef or pork.
Try to avoid stressful situations. Be optimistic.
Try to work out, this is not essential if you want ot lose weight, but your body will look much nicer later.
And one more thing, get yourself a gel or something to prevent stretch-marks on your skin. I have lost about 10 kgs without using it and now I have stretch-marks.

I don't believe in dieting... I believe in Hydration, moderate exercise, and watching what foods you eat together with others.
There is an old self help book by Tony Robbins (yes I know, I can't stand him either.) but in this particular book there is a chart that I have never seen posted anywhere else that helps you separate your food intake .
In it it tells you how you can pretty much eat whatever you like, it is just a matter of what you eat in combination with other things.
Some foods inhibit and prevent proper digestion when eaten with others at the same time... Like Beef and Rice.
Basically. Most protein should be eaten with fiber (vegetables or beans..) and most carbs should be eaten with fiber but no carb should ever be consumed at the same sitting with a protein... and you should never eat fruit with anything else. Even some fruits can't be eaten with others, like bananas for instance... Get it?
The name of the book is Unlimited Power. and it is written under Anthony Robbins (rather than tony)
Get yourself a copy... It makes perfect sense and it really does help you lose weight and become healthier just by changing a few little things rather than dieting by loosing everything you love and suffering.

Staying on a regular exercise program and eating healthy.
Try doing Pilates... a while back I bought a dvd, MTV Pilates, from Walmart and although it was tough at first, it became easier and even fun at times.....
You don't have to join a gym in order to do exercises that work.... walking, running, Pilates, Yoga, crunches, combine with stretching so you don't get sore and/or cheat your muscles and hold those stretches for 15-30 seconds (remember you want a stretch not pain so if there's pain back off a little bit until it's just a nice stretch).....
I took the massage therapy course so I know that you can't constantly exercise and you have to take the muscles through it's entire range, otherwise you'll build muscle but it won't be even (biceps for example has 2 parts...if you don't take the muscle through it's entire range you could end up with a lump of muscle by your elbow but the part by your shoulder may not change....One of my teachers told our class that he did that before he started the course and it was painful to undo...)
There is one final thing to know about weight loss and keeping it off... Positive attitude. You have to be determined to stick to the plan you set up for yourself and be positive. You cannot be negative about it and hope to have it work for you. And don't forget to drink lots of water.

exercise everyday like jogging around the block
skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
dont eat until your're full
eat fruits at night if your hungry.
drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.
