Has anyone ever gotten sick from Crest Whitestrips? I have been using them for about 4 days now, and have started having lightheadedness and dizzy spells. Any idea if they could be related? I have also been sick, but those symptoms have gone away.

I just started using them yesterday and from what I read the only side effect could be sensitive teeth, and it should only last for a few days. Are you whipping the gel off your teeth after the strips have set for 30 minutes? If your swallowing that it could probably be really bad. I also read that if you are having problems with them you should stop using them for a couple days and then try again, if the problem persists then stop using them completely.

I have tried the Crest Whiting Strips now twice, once last year and again this year. Both time I had dizzy spells (1-2 seconds) and lightheaded. Last year it took about 2 weeks for it to stop. I just stopped the second time 3 days ago and the symptoms continue. I just had my annual physical and it was positive. Common denominator = Crest Whiting Strips.

I've used Crest White-strips and never had a problem. I guess it could be possible. Did you try calling the 800 number back of the product. (If given) If number is on the back of the product, I would call them and ask!
