slavery is also in the new testament, for the fundamentally ignorant that dont know.
You would think that Jesus and the New Testament would have a different view of slavery, but slavery is still approved of in the New Testament, as the following passages show.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)
In the following parable, Jesus clearly approves of beating slaves even if they didn't know they were doing anything wrong.
The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:47-48 NLT)

What do you think of spurred the assumption of slavery?? the reality it particularly is replace into not condemned interior the Bible! Thats why this way of super style of folk pre-Civil conflict had stable ideals and have been professional-slavery and did not discover it incorrect to maintain slaves. interior the Qu'ran, it states that slavery IS certainly allowed, yet there are particular regulations on slavery. For one, as a Muslim, the Qu'ran makes it particularly confusing to own a slave. interior the uncommon case that a Muslim particularly does own a slave, as quickly as lower back, the Muslim is limited and would in basic terms rightfully own the slave following strict situations. as an occasion, the owner won't be able to make his slave do unreasonable quantities of paintings, and restricts the owner to place the slave to any style of paintings the owner himself isn't bodily able to. additionally, any style of mistreatment of slaves is likewise strongly prohibited. there is extra to this, yet to make an prolonged tale short, the Qu'ran does enable slavery, yet bestows severe regulations on possessing any, subsequently making it laborious to even own one. even nevertheless, interior the Bible, slavery is in simple terms approximately inexistent. that's what inspired many human beings to own slaves; the reality that the Bible did not forbid it.

No, I don't think god approves of it. It's just an economical/social issue in human lives. Yes, slavery is in the bible, it's mostly in the old testament and that is just how some of those ancient societies lived.

The Bible want us to be servants and serve others. God wants us to put others before ourselves - but that is not slavery. Slavery involves putting someone below you...and that mostly happens when you are selfish and only care about your needs.

I don't think so- I just read yesterday in the Bible that "a worker is worth his wages." spoken by Jesus... So I'm not getting where you believe the Bible says slavery is okay? Or what god you are refering to?

In one word - NO! And, again, NO. And to the last one, it's totally wrong because He doesn't approve of it!
All the best!
Cheers!
