Or any religion period. Its all senseless bigotry unless we give accurate knowledge about our own beliefs and stop putting to shame each others religion, truth will reveal itself in time. Its cool if we speak with integrity but dont put on a front just because your confident in your belief and start knocking others. If you have a question about someone's belief, don't be a moron about it. Just ask with no sarcasm. That's why we have so many religions today.

"Freedom Begets Freedom"
"When we judge others religion, ours will fall under the same judgement. This creates a fear cycle inside that makes us afraid to share the differences we have, therefore the love we could of had for each other goes sour. When we accept others religion, we don't get angry, feel guilty, or withdraw our love. We feel better about our own religion."
We often fault or fall into religion because of these results:
1.Fear of abandonment (fear of losing love)
2.Fear of anger (can't stand someone mad)
3. Fear of loneliness (you give in to others)
4. Fear of losing the goodness in you
5. Guilt (fear of someone else's good)
6. Payback (when someone faulted you)
7. Approval ( from your religious group)
It's your choice.

I think the problem is that they can not really disprove it or shake our beliefs. That bothers them because they were so easily shaken and deterred from theirs. That's my opinion. Many atheist on here are previous Christian whom have been fooled by satan. they don't know this because their hearts have been hardened to God. I feel that deep down they know this and are just sad, lost souls. If you once believed then the HS has been in you and God still loves you and is waiting for you to return. I believe that it is an internal struggle for them. That is my opinion. I also believe that in time many will be healed and will come back to Christ. It will be in God's time though. That's what frustrates us Christians. Our time is not Gods time. He has a reason for everything. We just don't know what it is.

Well thank you Rodney King, but it isn't all senseless bigotry and some religions, especially how they are practiced, ARE shameful and need to be opposed: Osama ring a bell? The Church of the Aryan Nations? Jonestown? Branch Davidian?
Few believers know much at all about their faiths, but if they did it wouldn't fix the problem. Some beliefs are simply dangerous and we don't need to kick back waiting for that truth because it's already revealed.
All these things become apparent in the marketplace of ideas and in a market you do marketing, with each side selling their own view. This is done through mindful debate and also through sarcastic polemic, because the goal is to convince and persuade, not merely regurgitate facts.

You have so many religions today because of the corruption of religion and because of the truth of religion, that is was created by humans and humans disagree with the direction of religion. That is a historical fact. When someone who is religious questions another religion or puts it down, then it is definitely bigotry. However, when a atheist does that, it is not as the atheist has a tendency to see religion for the corrupt organization that it is. Sometime it takes someone on the outside who has not ties to an organization to see it truly for what it is, especially when humans have an emotional tie to it.

It is Athiest's attitudes that I have a problem with....and until they change...don't expect me to. Athiest's are the ones who blather on as if they have the monopoly on what they think is right and wrong.. and those who have said that they yet have yet to meet one that walked their talk. ? is because they know nothing about Christianity nor do they want to out of Bias and hatred and ignorance, they neither understand us , nor have the ability to.
1Cr 2:14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means.
1Cr 2:15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all
Paul wrote that he fought the good fight, he finished the race , he kept the faith, he did not say he won it, Christ won the race and the fight for us on the cross.
Being a Christian does not mean we will never sin, we still sin but do so less then others who are not Christian and make no excuses for it, we are convicted of it and fight to keep from doing it, Christianity is not about winning the race or the fight but about showing up for it and striving to win it.

I think that here, people feel protected by anonymity and not having to look another person in the face or deal with them in real life. So the bigotries and hostilities come out. Hopefully, some people learn from that.

Now that is a problem. No one has been talking about that all morning. Most of the time, it is not the religion, it is the people who defends the religion.

As for splendor, at one end of the curve we've the least alluring and on the different end the main. the comparable may well be real for earnings ... poorest on one section and richest on the different. interior the middle of the bell we've all the prevalent persons. i think of what you're asserting is real, yet in basic terms in basic terms a fact of existence. we've the completed spectrum for the two genders. why is it everytime I do anywhere christianity has a problem with everyone else?
practice what you preach.
granted, christianity isn't as extreme as some religions as they aren't suicide bombing little children, but the intolerance and bigotry towards non-christians and ideas they don't approve of is still the same.

Fully agree. I can understand 1 day or a few times as "humor". But many sit here day after day, just to bash, for no reason.
They feel "empowered" when they sit behind a computer where no one can see them. They feel this need and urge to lash out, in retaliation for their own life and misery.
