My husband and i met when i was 20 and he was 23. We dated for 4 years before we got married. I think you are at a good age and start getting serious, but only you guys know the answer to your question. It does not just depend on age. It also depends on your career, school, where you live, and future plans. We waited until we both graduated from college before we got engaged and planned a wedding for a year later and we both had careers so it was the right time. I think you should wait until you both have a career and are at a place in your life where it would be ideal to settle down. Age does not matter.

Depends on your level of maturity.
In many countries all over the world, people get married as young as 12 & 13 (not recommended by me) and as old as in their 90's I'm sure.
So I say it depends on your culture, upbringing, maturity level, and how serious you take life.
For some 24 may be too young, and others, too old!

I do however believe that between 19 and 25 are good ages. Anything after 25 (to me) is old. Especially if you want children, cause after 30, there are more risks involved with childbirth.

Hope this helped! ♥

It's different for everyone. It depends on what you want and need.

20-21 is probably the low end. Younger than that and you risk making rash judgments.

I know a lot of very lonely folks who are in their 30's that made up their minds that they wouldn't get serious with anyone until after they were 30.

Now, they're very set in their ways and find it very difficult to find a partner.

But, in the end, only you and your partner can make the determination if it's time to "get serious."

Totally depends on the persons maturity level. And for all of you that think 40 years or older. Do you plan on having kids! If you are that is way to old. Do you really want to have a teenager when you are 55? I know people that have teenagers and are that old. Trust me, you will not have the energy!

It makes no difference of the ages. It's how you feel within that determines if you are ready or not. Being a photographer, I have seen such wide diverse ranges of ages as well as happiness levels. Serious relationships is only defined by and your bf. What is serious for you is mere casual dating for others.

Remember this....when you can go through a day smiling and feeling happy about your life with him without ever having to worry about him or his trust, then you are in that state of seriousness. If your euphoria radiate from your soul and others can see such happiness shining through you without ever knowing there is a man existed in your life, then you are ready. If you can go to bed with a smile and such happy thoughts that nothing else in this world matters when you wake and he is not close by to cause it, then you are ready. When your heart smile so wide that other are affected by it without much effort coming from you, then you are ready. A trusting and committed relationship can only bring about such euphoria and I hope you will know and feel such one day soon. =)

You are a good age to get serious. I got married when I was 23. My husband and I have been happily married for 9 years now!

I think statistics would show that 26 and older for a woman has a better success rate and maybe 29 and older for a guy. I am not sure exactly but I think I am pretty close.

It has less to do with age and more to do with maturity.
I'd say 24&25 is fine, if you feel secure with eachother.

I think you should be 27 and he should be 28 to get married it seems like a reasonable age.
