Hi
Before considering dating again make sure that you are over her . You do not want to start something new and still have feelings for her because it would put a strain on the new relationship .
Break ups are always painful but you will get through this with time . Start going out , take up a class or two , get yourself noticed and last but not least learn from your last relationship as to what went wrong . (Learn from your mistakes )
Take care and Good Luck

Relationships are tough, I'm sorry you feel so alone and sad. I just came out of a 5 year relationship myself. My best advice (one that I am doing myself) is to not so quickly jump into a relationship, because it will just be a rebound. Be single for just a little bit and enjoy it. This will give you a chance not only to learn about yourself, relationships, and evaluate what you really want. Surround yourself with people you love, and those that make you laugh, and get some hobbies to take your mind off things. Time heals all wounds....right now just focus on YOU..you deserve it. Good luck!

You need to do your own thing and stay busy. That's the best way I found. Even though I would rather be alone sulking, it's not worth it. If I'm around my friends and constantly doing something, I don't think about her as much.

I know it is hard but you really need to trust in yourself, believe me I was scared to go out when I first went thru my divorce , but ya know , I did it and now I am happily remarried to a wonderful man. So take the chance go out with friends and just have fun.

She broke up with you and isn't coming back, but she still likes you? First, you need to accept that she doesn't like you anymore. Then you can move on.

Go out with the boys and do what you all like to do together. Keep distracted and you won't have to think of her too much
