i would love it if my guy wrote me poetry but unfortunately the kind of guys i date are only interested in cars and sports

My ex thought any guy who worte her a poem was gay. I didn't write her poems or anything and I don't know how the subject came up(probably a tv show) But needless to say, she wasn't worth staying with either.
