You start worrying about the type of guy you're dating! If he knows you want to wait, he should be respecting that, not pushing it. If he is pushing it, then he's not high enough quality for someone who clearly has her standards and her s*** together (you).

I think he doesn't truly love you. Sex is not love it's an act. When one wants it and the other doesn't then it's a selfish act. He wants to use you to get gratified, but that kind of guy will get it whenever and wherever he can. Even if you cave in chances are he'll move on to someone else , then your left feeling guilty because you gave into someone that didn't care about whats best for you. You can only give your virginity away once. A boyfriend that truly loves you, will want to be in your heart, not just your pants. And if you want to wait he will love you enough to respect that and do what's right for you. Have fun, do exciting things, enjoy your time because you make him happy on the inside, not just to feel good for a few minutes. Once sex enters the picture you will never be able to separate sex from love. You will wonder does he love me or just the sex? Hold true to what's right for you and if he can't respect that then he doesn't truly care. There are good guys out there that will love you for you not what you let them do to you.

A woman who is sure of herself will not succumb to any seducing or cajoling or manipulation.
"boyfriend wants sex" says it all.
Read that again. Doesn't it sound as though he is looking at it as a commodity and something he desires because he wants to satisfy himself?
You both have to want to be one with each other.
Sometimes, sex is wonderful. Often, it is just entertainment. Love will wait for the right one and right time.

You tell him that you want to wait. If he can not except that then he is not worth it and you should find some one else. Sex brings a whole new level to a relationship and if you are not ready to go there yet you should not be pressured to have sex with him.

you wait, and if he doesn't wait for you. you find someone who will go at your pace. i am 26 and it's not like i hadn't slept with someone before, but when i met my boyfriend we waited 9 months before we slept together, we built up the emotional side of things and then the sex is so so much better cos i dont have any inhibitions with him.

tell him you are not ready and you want to wait. If he gets upset then you know where his true feelings are. It is OK to tell them that you are not ready. Guys are always ready and don't understand the stigma attached to girls having sex. Guys get high fives for getting with girls and girls get called a slut. It is not fair, but girls have to be more careful about who and how many partners they have.
