've grown to really develop feelings for a man that i've known for three years. he said he has feelings for me too, and always has (he wanted us to be boyfriend and girlfriend when we met but i was with someone) We became good friends, and I've been there when his father died, he's always there for me. he helped me move, is always supportive of me. We are supposed to be getting together next week, to see how it goes between us. it's kind of weird but nice knowing someone so well but still not having a first kiss or anything. i was just wondering if anyone has gone from friends to more, or have any advice. i'm just gonna go with the flow but i'm still nervous because it's him.

Ive been in the same thing. It happened to me. There was a girl that even after a year and a half now, were still together and happily engaged. I knew this girl all my life and one day it clicked and we were together. It was the best day of my life and its something that I am always going to remember. It is a pretty good thing for you. You both care about each other and respect each other. It looks like its going to be a good relationship if you guys get together

i've dated 2 guys after being friends w/them for a while. 1relationship didn't last that long. the other lasted over 2 yrs. it's really great dating someone u know and trust. since he's supportive of u. u don't have 2 worry about him saying u can't do anything. i hope it works out between u two. after i broke up w/the 1st guy we stayed friends until he went to the airforce. the 2nd guy and i r still real good friends. and we r planing on getting back together. that's if the relationship i am in doesnt' work.

i hope everything works out for you and him.

GOOD LUCK!!

Been there done that, its kinda of a werid place, but its really good. When ur date ur bestfriend its like no matter what happens for the most part, u can get though anything. I am kind ain the same place right now, as a youth minister i am having feelings for one of my "minsiteryies" and she for me, but its werid, her ex cheated on her and stood her up on v-day i called in a favor had him picked up and then all is well that ends well. But when u date ur bestfriend its for the most part good.

Go for it!! This is how the best relationships start, with someone you've known a while. All of mine have started that way. Way better than trying to "connect" with some random person you meet in a bar or whatever!

I felt the same way too. I fallen in love with a friend, right now we don't know where this situation will take us. We're both afraid that we will regret everything, we might ruined the foundation of friendship that we had.

Yes I've done that
my relationship lasted
I think that if you start to date him things will be okay if you've been friends with him for a long time
what can sex hurt after all, if you are so close?
