I praise God and I know there is a God. But if I was "on the fence" yes of course I would rather praise and learn there was none at the end then to live a sinful life

Rather praise a god and find out there waz no god at the end...

The consequences of the latter out-weigh the consequences of the former.

My life as a Christian man is very fulfilling. I am more aware of my surroundings. More loving to my fellow man. I love being able to help women with no strings.

I love the smile a can put on a homeless persons face, with just a cup of coffee and a doughnut.

I love reading the Bible with a set of living instructions that tells me how to treat my wife and kids and my fellow man.

I love being in the world and not drawn into all of it's negative ways.

even with out the existence of God, if this is all there is, I have lived, loved and given to the world.

My human nature could never spawned who I am.
Only the Great I am could, The God that in his tender mercy has accepted me, as filthy as I was and cleansed me.

Well if you do not believe in the existence of God then you have absolutely nothing to worry about, as according to you there is no judgment day or an afterlife to worry about. But if you have lived a life as you say in a sinful way and then realise that yes there is a god out there - basically your in a lot of trouble and its too late!

only it's not as simple as that!

This question has been asked over 2,000 times on this board. Believing is not something that you can simply turn on like a TV. I find your assumption that people who do not believe in God are sinful absolutely parochial. Frankly, I have looked at the Bible from the perspective of Biblical scholars and found it to have enough holes in it to fly a 747 jet through.

Live a sinful free life knowing there is no God.

Don't you think it would be a waste of time to worship a god and then find out there wasn't one. I mean why live your life for someone that may not even be there. I'd rather live my life for me and those here in my life now....those I know are real. Like my family, and my friends.
If I don't believe in god and it turns out there is one, then I guess I'll have to deal with that when I die, but at least I lived my life the way I wanted to.

Well, I would rather praise God and find out there wasn't a God. However, I know there is God. His proof is everywhere. You just need to open your eyes and heart.

Well, I'd rather live a sin free life. so, the first one. I mean, what would the world be like if everyone just went round being extremely crappy to each other?

How about I live a good life, doing the best I can, and leave the worrying about whether there is a God till the time I have to face him?

I don't think God would have a problem with that.
