You did the right thing. Give the hospital a ring and let us know how she is.

You couldn't have done anything more it's probably best to not move someone if you don't know how they got there as you can make them worse. Staying there keeping them warm phoning an ambulance and talking to her is the best you could have done. And well done for having the kindness and sense to do so. Ring the hospital and see if they can tell you it could need to be just next of kin but is worth a try, She's bound to be better off for what you did than just lying there all night

You did the right thing! The hospital won't give you any details because you're not the lady's family it's confidential but you could leave your contact details and explain that you found her and then perhaps one of her family memeber could get in touch with you. Good job though. I'd say she's a very lucky lady that you came by.

Wasn't it great that you came along when you did. You gave comfort to an elderly lady in a time of greatest need. You saw she was in a serious condition and did the right thing in calling the ambo's and staying with her till she could be cared for professionally.
I think you should look into doing a basic first aid course, which is a great skill to have in such situations.
You did all that was necessary to reassure and comfort your new friend, who will always remember that nice lady who rendered assistance when it was most needed.
The world is a better place with people like you in it. Thanks.

Hi, don't beat yourself up - you did the best thing you could have. it is often recommended not to move people in case you exacerbate any injuries they sustained whilst falling. You can call the hospital but remember they can only give out limited info due to patient confidentiality. leave your best wishes and your details as the lady or her family might want to contact you to thank you. Well done for acting so calmly in the situation and for helping a fellow human being.

Thank you for stopping to help this woman, you did exactly the right thing. I know from personal experience that one of the most important things you can do with someone who is ill or frightened or injured, is to just hold their hand or touch their shoulder, arm, face, whatever. Human contact is so important at a time like that. Please call the hospital and explain who you are, you might get someone with some empathy who can help you find out how she is doing. I hope your act of kindness is repaid to you.

As you are not a relative it is unlikely the hospital will tell you anything. You definitely did the right thing - you could call the hospital and tell them that you found her and then they may be wiling to say whether she is OK or not. How lucky was she that you happened by!

You done all you could. You can try phoning the hospital to see if they will give you any information or if they will pass your contact details onto the ladies family.
As you said yourself it was a pretty remote path so she is very lucky that you came along when you did.

You're a good kid. It sound like you did everything right.

And, yes, it would be quite OK to phone the hospital and ask about her. Depending on what unit she is on, they may or may not be able to give you much info, but you could request they pass your message on to the family and maybe they would call you back.

you are under no obligation to have done anything else and if you had and it went wrnog then you oculd have been sued by her relatives. if you want to do more then go along to a first aid ocurse so you'd be able to help in future but remember that you don't have to.

definatley ring the hospital just to settle your own mind as to whether she's ok or not

You are an excellent person!!! You've done more than enough for this lady. Phone the hospital and explain who you are. My daughter had her 1st epileptic fit and if it wasn't for a nice lady like yourself, I might have lost her! Give yourself a praise. God bless you xxx
