Its really depends on what you mean by intelligence and how you weight it. Studies show women on the average are better at verbal skills and men are better at mathematical skills.
Women have a larger corpus callossum connecting the two hemispheres which permits better communication between them while men tend to have larger brain size over all.
I don't think any over all comparision is meaningful because it all depends on how you weight the different factors. Both Men and Women have different strengths and weaknesses.

From a theoretical perspective, the exact average IQ of all humans is 100. This is because in most IQ testing, 100 is defined as the average of all persons, and all test takers are scored according to deviations from that average.
Therefore, 50% of all persons will be given a score of 90-110. 20% will be given a score of 75-90 and another 20% will be given a score of 110-125. Finally, 5% will be scored as below 75 and another 5% will be scored as above 125.
For the most part, overall IQ scores are not different between males and females, as each gender scores higher in some areas and lower in others, and these differences balance out. There is considerable speculation that these differences may be culturally influenced to some degree.
The only other statistically significant difference that I'm aware of is that males tend to demonstrate a greater variation in test scores, meaning that extremely high and extremely low scores are (slightly) more likely to be male than female. The relevant study for this is cited below.

They ARE the same quotient and the same average!!! Women tend to do better in the verbal and language skills and men in the math skills. This doesn't mena that men are babbling fools or that women can't excell in math. The average IQ for BOTH genders is 100, with 145 and over being genius level (top 2% of the population).

average IQ cut across all ages & genders should be between 90 - 110..Every individual is created with a unique personality and with this, they grow at their own rate and time..It can be birth acquired having the genes passed down and also through learning capabilities which may help increase IQ..

Well, there tend to be more male ultra-geniuses. (IQ's over 160).
However, there are as many men as women who are highly intelligent
But more women graduate college.
