You don't absorb water through your skin (at least not enough to alleviate your thirst).

Besides, it feels cold.

I get out of the rain for two reasons:
1) It's harder to see with rain spots on my glasses
2) I don't like walking about in wet clothes!

Some people run from the rain because their hair might b flat ironed and the rain can cause frizzage

Well, not exactly. We need water, but we generally don't utilize what falls on us directly from the sky. For most of us, being in wet clothes is uncomfortable, hence umbrellas and staying indoors while it rains.

I don't run from it I play in it...........I love rain, I wait for it every year like a kid waiting for Christmas.
I love the sounds the smells.everything, it is relaxing and cleansing.
