There's this guy that I like...(i think he likes me but im not sure) and we are actually good friends...talk for hours everyday online...we dont hav any classes together but we go to the same school so sometimes i see him go by and we stop for a quick chat...the problem is...whenever he sees me with my female friends or with a guy that im not that close to ...he always stops and talks to me...but when im with my closest male friends...he sort of ignores me... what does this mean?

He may like you and be jealous of your close guy friend. Or he is intimidated by your friend and does not want to talk when you're with him. So....go on and talk to him about it, you like him dont you? Maybe you could end up hookin up with him soon! Good luck

He is signaling you that he needs some time apart from you. Chatting for hours online plus the normal other stuff in life leaves him with little time on his own.

Maybe he doesn't think your closest friends approve of him or don't like him for some reason. It is possible that he maybe had a bad experience or an argument with one of them.

Probably doesn't want to cramp your style or give your close male friends any concerns for competition.

Or he could just be stating he don't and won't compete for your attention.

I think he feels uncomfortable when you are around male friends. I think he likes you too. I would ask him about his feelings before you tell him how you feel. I hope this works.

jealous perhaps or maybe he feels threathen by your friends. males are territorial by nature so whenever another male seems to be getting too close to his partner, he gives his back off signals.

maybe he thinks you too are a couple or maybe he gets nervous (like shy) when you are around him. you should ask him one time while you chatting..or just mention it in one of your conversations.
