When you got married, did you cry? and how about, if your child was to be married, did you cry also?

When I was at the altar, I cried. That was the wonderful day in my life. I finally get to marry the love of my life. and btw, my wife wants kids and I don't want to have kids. Can anyone explain to my wife that I don't want kids? or what can i do about the situation?

Dude, you cried on your wedding day, and you'll be crying again some time in the future. You should have discussed your preferences for/against children - and SETTLED the matter - before you got married.

You'll either wind up having:

a. children you don't want;

b. an embittered wife;

c. a wife who leaves you to have children with somebody else.

Did you clear the matter with your wife, that you don't want to have children, before you marry her? This is not an issue which you just decide by yourself that you don't want have kids. This is something you should discuss with her before you marry her. It's not my job to explain to your wife that you don't want kids. It is your problem and try to give her good reasons for your decision.

My closest cousin had her wedding last weekend, and for the first time in my life I cried because I was so happy. It was absolutley beautiful.

As for the kids. Tell her you dont want them now, or in the near future. Maybe if you give it more time, she, or even you might change your mind.
