Walking is great. Swimming, eating less and eating healthier, aerobics tape or DVD, buy a few free weights for strength training. If you have winter there, you can go sliding, skating, skiing, snow shoeing. Walk in the mall if its too cold. Walk up and down flights of stairs in a tall building.

Use your body weight for resistance. Push ups, sit ups, chair dips, squats. You can do jumping jacks, jump rope, shadow box. If you are near a school you can usually find bars for pull ups and monkey bars. There are a lot of things you can do without a gym membership.
