No, the only thing that would bring the Bible closer to becoming the truth is removing all of the mysticism in it.
Even when all of the magic and miracles are removed there is still room for improvement.
Most of the stories in the Bible were written down hundreds of years after the death of Jesus. Plus most of the books in the current Bible were used for political reasonsback in the day.
The only legitimate use for the Bible is a loose guide to living a good life.
Nothing more.
