I totally understand how you feel. Before my father died his mental capacity diminished and he it always been such a strong , vibrant, independent individual. He eventually became bedridden before he died. It broke my heart. What I did was I talked with a psychologist once a week who helped me deal with the grief of losing the person you loved who is still alive. I suggest you seek out a psychologist and share your sadness with them.

Best wishes,

The same thing happened to my mother. She was so good in school she skipped grades, supposedly she had genius level IQ. She was an RN, pianist, fan of all kinds of music, gourmet cook and seemed to excell in almost everything she tried to do. She always pushed me to try to be better person. I was pretty much of a screw up in my young life, but I finally graduated from college at 30 and I know she was very proud of me.
She was diagnosed with Alzheimers and it got to the point where she even didn't know who my father was. I think it was really Vascular Dementia since it started after a heart attack and congestive heart failure. But that doesn't really matter, there wasn't much that could be done regardless of the type of Dementia. When she was in the Nursing Home, she was convinced she was a nurse working there, and they actually let her act it out by giving her things to do.
I know exactly how you feel.

My grandma had dementia too. She passed away last August, so it's been rough around the house. Unforutnatly it is something you have to deal with. Medication used for Alzheimers desease can be used to help demetia too. I'd make sure to keep a record of all the medication she takes and keep track of the dosages. This way it makes it easier to make sure you know what to do in terms of days and times she has to take her medication. Also, I'd be aware that there are a class of drugs called anti-psychotics that are not approved for use in dementia because they can increase the risk of stoke/mini-stroke in such patients. I'd speak with the doctor and also seek therapy for you to help cope with her new diagnosis. Best of luck...

Alzheimer's is an inflammatory process that starts in the gut many years before it becomes apparent to most people.

A dysfunctional liver presents another concern in the alzheimer's patient; reduced adrenal hormones associated with liver dysfunction, diminished brain chemicals such as serotonin, and the patients mood swings and fits of anger become more pronounced. Mangosteen Xanthones regulate serotonin levels and help calm the alzheimer's patient.

Fatty acid imbalances also cause advanced inflammation in the alzheimer's patient. This is evident on thermographic scans of an alzheimer's brain.

The powerful anti-inflammatory action of the mangosteen xanthones do a great job of reducing this destructive inflammatory process.

I'm so sorry that your mom has dimentia. I can relate to how you are feeling, having watched my ex mother-in-law go through the same thing. One day she would be sharp as a tack & just the opposite the next day. It seems to have affected her short term memory more & more as time went on. It's sad indeed to watch your mom go through this, but all you can do is just be there for her.

Have her start writing in a journal, if she can, of all the memories she still has. It'll be nice to have.

It is sad to watch someone go through that.

Its in basic terms a difficulty in case you attempt to *make* it a difficulty. the hassle-free fact is this. Catholics *do no longer* think of what you think of we do. no person, different than Protestants attempting to attain much less costly factors might ever declare that any one thinks that Mary is someway the originator or mom of the Triune God. We, like anybody else, extremely in basic terms propose that Mary is the mummy of Jesus, and Jesus is God, so, in a feeling, Mary is the mummy of God. The beginning place of this is going back to the formation of the religion, and the argument over no rely if or no longer Jesus grow to be human, divine, or the two. And if the two, in what way grow to be he the two? there have been 2 competing ideas. One grow to be that Jesus had 2 natures. One human and one divine, yet they have been cut loose one yet another. This grow to be no longer a passable answer. For one, if the divine and mortal aspects of Jesus have been separate, then collectively as the Human Jesus suffered on the go, the God-part of Jesus in basic terms sort of sat there and grow to be divorced from it. This flies interior the face of something of Christian theology with reference to the meaning of the go, and paints God as some sadist who enjoys watching a human die a terrible dying collectively as his divine Son is untouched. the different theory grow to be that Jesus had one nature, the two human and divine. it extremely is, Jesus grow to be human, and he grow to be God, yet he grow to be the two interior the way that orange is the completed blending of purple and yellow, no longer purple and yellow next to a minimum of one yet another on a internet site. This meshed nicely with something of Christian theology and grow to be time-honored because of fact the definitely nature of Jesus. So what does this background lesson could do with the call of mom of God for Mary? in basic terms this. The call emerged at this comparable time-physique to make the factor that Jesus had one essence. The logic is this: Mary is, a minimum of, the mummy of the incarnate Jesus' human section. Jesus' human section is indistinguishable and inseparable from his divine section. consequently Mary could additionally be, for the incarnate Jesus, the mummy of his divine section, and as Jesus' divine section is referred to as 'God', Mary is the mummy of God. back, this says no longer something, and has by no potential reported something with reference to the dating of Mary to the Trinity pre-incarnation. no person thinks what you declare we predict of it does.
