your cat will find somewhere she is comfortable in so that she can give birth. Just keep an eye on her to prevent any complications and don't shout 'push' it will distress your cat. Just stroke her if she will let you and give her lots of attention. Hope everything goes well!

You should just make sure she doesn't get outside in this cold! If you have a warm, quiet area with a towel or something in it, that could encourage her to have her kittens somewhere other than where you certainly don't want her- for example, the floor of your closet. Usually animals will find someplace secluded and have their babies in the middle of the night when it is less likely they will be disrupted. After this litter, though, you should really have your cat spayed.

This is what you can do.
Make her a birthing box, use a cardboard box at least twice her size, line the bottom of the box with a garbage bag, place a blanket and sheet down over the plastic bag.
Keep the box in a room with little to no traffic.
When she goes into labor put her in the box and watch her, she should keep her kittens in the box, if she doesn't keep putting them back in.
Hope this helps.

She will pretty much do everything by herself. Just make sure she stays in one place while having her kittens and not alot of activity around her. We had one mom cat that started moving after she had each one and left each one where she had it. We got her into a secluded place and she was much happier. This is common for first time mom cats sometimes.

Most of the time they do it by themselves and have no problems but she should be checked by a vet regardless to make sure she is healthy enough to give birth. Your vet will provide you with all the info you need including when to get involved IF you are even there.
