well some do and sadly some dont but so far mine has went fine it has been 6 months as of Mar. 8 and i see him often and we talk alot but i wouldnt concider it long distance because we see each other all the time i mean i dont see him everyday its probally 3 times a week.
i think if it is long distance you need to make a greater effort to connect and theres more trust in a long distance relationship.
if you have trust issues im sorry but i'd say no because you need to trust them even more because you cant see them all the time
if you are a trusting person and your companion is trusting also i say why not because trust in a relationship is really important and if you are new to the whole long distance relationship thing take it slow .
I hope this helps Good luck

I think it depends on the strength of the relationship and how committed each person really is to making it work. In the end someone will have to compromise to move to be with the other person to make it work. Good luck....hopefully there's not too much distance.

It depends on how long distance it is, how old you are etc. I think they don't usually last or work. I think it is an urban legend. All the people that I know who have done it have not been able to make it work.

I met a guy briefly for about 15 minutes one day, I gave him my address cause he was going into the Army that day. We corresponded in letters for over 3 years, he was in a couple of states, went overseas for a year, then back east. We went on maybe a half dozen 'dates', a few phone calls. We got married and I am sure there was a pool figuring out how long it would last ...that was 30 years ago.

No. The distance must be overcome or removed, by 2 willing participants, in order to endure.
Case in point: my brother in law, boston ma, travelled back and forth to brooklyn ny every weekend for a year or two. distance overcome.
He then moved to brooklyn ny. distance removed
they are now married and with child.

No. At some point they either break up or someone has to move, so then its no longer long distance.

It depends on both of you, you really have to think about how serious the relationship is.
