or where can I find some cheap dental insurance. I don't have health insurance so therefore don't have dental insurance but I have an abscessed tooth I really need taken care of and I'm desperate to find a cheap dentist.

You don't have to have dental insurance to be seen by a dentist. Some dentist will work out a payment plan with you. Others offer a certain type of credit card you can apply for in office and use.

Some colleges offer dentistry course and need "guinea pigs" to practice on (all supervized by a licensed dentist, of course). They usually have a very low cost clinic, where you only pay for supplies used, not the actual work, since these future dentists need the practice in order to graduate
