Hey there....in response to that question. Knowbody knows who God is. God is not a living being, he is a spirit, and I can tell you for certain that he is real. I was a very unhappy teen...my parents were both verbaly, emotionaly and physically abusive and I had tried suicide twice. The second time I took an overdose, and by the time my parents found me the pills had gone through my system and had absobed into my liver (your liver is the organ that filters everything before it goes into your blood). With the amount of pills I took (my liver failed) it could not filter the amount of pills I had taken. I was rushed to the nearest hospital I was given 24 hrs. to live, where my parents were told to call my closest relatives to say their last good byes and my parents were given forms to sign (so that when I was gone they would donate my organs) Throughout this whole time I was having an outer body experience. I could see everything going on in the emergency room...I watched my mom faint when they were asked to sign papers in order to donate my organs. I watched everyone praying and crying over me when they came to say their good byes. I was eventually transferred to the intensive care unit...and I could see myself hooked up to machines. I did not want to live I truly wanted to die, I could not stand the thoughts of surviving and having to go back home. My spirit had left my body and I wanted to go to the other side, and that's when I had my experience with God. I never saw him, but I could hear him. And he told me it was not my time to go...but I pleaded with him and told him that I was to sad and scared to go back, he told me it wasn't my time to go, that he had put me on this earth for a reason, and he promised me that I would find happiness, and that I would find love and be loved and that I had to go back. (about my liver...if you want to know how I survived that) your liver is an organ that can grow back...basically my whole liver was destroyed by the pills...except for a little piece the size of a dime, which had survived. I was in the hospital for about a month and the day I left my doctor told me that I had lived through a miracle and that he had seen alcaholics come in with liver disease and with livers less damaged that mine but they had all died (he had never seen a liver as damaged as mine) I am 37 years old now, I am married and have two awesome kids. I'm a healthy and very happy person, I have shared this story with many teens...not for simpathy or even to try and convince someone that God is real (that's a personal decision) I tell teens this story, because it's tough being a teen. Teens usually feel misunderstood, sometimes unloved and teens sometimes feel as if life is hopeless. (That's why there are so many teen suicides) I share my story in order to give hope to anyone that may feel as though theres no end to there feeling of hopelessness. I know I've given you a lot of information, however I am a very open and honest person and if I've given you a reason to be more open minded about God....well then I don't mind sharing my intimate story with you.
