Some men are insecure and want to feel that their woman needs them to survive.
Some men think they're pimps and want to use a woman to get things they can't afford or just don't want to buy!
The best men don't care about what's in our pockets, it's what's in our hearts that important!

I preferred a woman to love me and whom i loved with little money rather than a woman with money whom i could not stand the sight of, and couldn't stand the sight of me.

No, the chances that a man will find a women with more money than him are slim to none unless it's Daddy money which doesn't count so.

For a young man, it hurts their pride a woman makes more then them for traditionally and still somewhat to this day, men are viewed as the providers. This makes them feel less manly.
For older men through, it really does not matter.

Men love to know that a woman has a life of her own. She is not "waiting around" doing nothing and hoping he provides a life for them both. Having a career shows that.

I wouldn't care as long as she wasn't looking for someone to care of her like a sugar daddy or something. I can take care of myself so I really don't care how much money they have. That isn't what I base a relationship on.
