I’ve see this question asked before, but I think it needed to be asked by a man. Why is this question only for women who are physically fit or not overweight? See my answer to the question “Guys, what do you like in a girl?” asked by GagaGirl.

When you are in public, what is the first thing that attracts you to a man out of all the men around you? Is it his physical fitness or lack thereof? Is it how he’s dressed? Is it how he acts around you? Is it how he smells? And/or do you try to look past their exterior, deeper into men, and look for something that’s not readily apparent? Or do you only judge a man by his exterior? How important is his interior qualities versus his exterior qualities to you (Which is more important to you?)

How he carries his weight. How confident he is. I am very fit but often am not attracted to men that are extremely fit looking. Unfortunately, they tend to get cocky and that really turns me off. I would rather be with a guy who needs to go to the gym, is still good looking, (cute face, at least 6 ft tall, neatly dressed) and confident. A tiny bit shy is also cute sometimes. if he's very smart...total turn on.

It is all of these things. Interior qualities go much farther than what is skin deep. Because a man can be the total hotness and open his mouth and be a bumbling idiot, chauvanistic pig and that is not gonna work.

As shallow as it sounds, the first thing that I notice about somebody is their looks. I notice how they are dressed (they don't have to be a fashion plate, but don't look like you just rolled out of bed), how well they groom theirself, stuff like that. I notice what mood they are in (do they look happy, sad, angry??) When I get closer, I notice how they smell, I notice their teeth (bad dental hygiene is a deal breaker). I pay attention to how they treat other people (are they nice to the bartender or do they bark out orders and expect them to jump?). After talking, I notice his attitude. Is he quick to laugh or smile? Is he laid back? Is he rude? Is he funny? Is he nice? Is he creepy and just trying to get in my pants? All in all, appearance matters, but it's interior qualities that make the person and that is what is important.

Its how he carries his self and if he doesnt look grimmey, its not always about looks or body its personality but u cant know the personalty unless something about him attracts you. They way he acts in public is the most important

How he carries himself, confidence, smile, if there is kindness in his eyes. If he has a sense of humor, and goes out of his way to make others laugh. intelligence someone who is not an idiot when he speaks
I don't care if he is overweight or skinny to me its the personality and his heart

personality is always more important but physically the first thing I notice is his weight, is he fat, skinny, obsese, normal, etic and his smile. Personality, it is how he looks at me and can he make me laugh

For me I have dated men I didnt initially find physically attractive but their personality made them attractive to me and eventually I found them physically attractive also. Remember looks fade.

Tight butts drive me nuts. So you are saying physically fit is more desirable than being mentally fit. No brain, no pain.
