I still love my ex, and he really doesn't like me anymore. He says I am annoying and that he has moved on. He is making this more of an interesting experience for me, cuz I get to chase after him, and I gave it a break for a few months, then went back to him and tried being friends again. Well now, I am worried about becoming obsessed, and its really scaring me, and I wish I could just turn around and accept the fact that we were never meant to be and that we're over now, but its just too hard. What should I do?

Yes, it sounds like you are obsessed because him ending the relationship damaged your self esteem. It doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong with you, it could just be you two had very different values and priorities and he realized before you did, which is why he ended the relationship.

Stop idolizing for what you are imagining he was; accept that he is not the end all, be all that you may think he was in retrospect. If you think back, there is likely plenty of things he did and said that annoyed you. Write the down if you have to.

Also accept that usually being "friends" with an ex is not a good idea in general, most of the time. One or the other of you is always hoping that that the one you want will change their mind...usually, they don't.

Another thing to consider is if you keep moping around about him, you are likely cutting yourself off from real opportunities with real guys that would love to get to know you.
