My hair is waist length. I have not cut it since I converted to Apostolic Pentecost 3 years ago. God spoke to me and I felt convicted about my hair. No one has told me that I can't cut it, but after studying the scripture and prayer I know it is right for me.
As for your question, my long hair doesn't bother me. I condition it regularly so it doesn't look dry and brittle. I love my long hair. I won't ever consider cutting it.
The scripture tells me that my hair is for my glory. It is a symbol of my submission to God and to my husband. God will make the decision how long my hair needs to be. If I were to get sick and all my hair fall out that would be God's decision also.
In short, I have allowed my hair to grow because God's word tells me to. How long my hair gets is completely in His hands.

Well, I have the gifts of the Spirit and my hair is short. I have many friends who are Pentecostal, and they have short hair.
Paul gave instructions to women to let their hair grow long. That was for that time period and in that Church (Corinth). In the city of Corinth, temple prostitutes shaved their heads. Paul instructed the Christian women to let their hair grow long, so as not to be considered a temple prostitute. He said it for their protection.
If women want to wear their hair long -- great! Men love it, it's fun to style, and it's pretty. Pentecostal women don't let their hair grow long because of their faith.
They do it because they want to.

Friend, My wife has long hair, One reason because she is Pentacostal, & 2nd, She has always had long hair, I don't force my wife to have long hair, she had it when we met in 1990, It is almost down to her hips, But you also need to understand, some woman can NOT grow long hair, is that wrong, No, But also you can see if a woman cuts her hair as short as a man, then that is wrong, My late deceased 1st wife also had long hair until a certain point, She died in 1989 & now my 2nd wife & I have been married 16 yrs. this month & we have not one time disagree about any scriptures, & I am not forcing my wife to have long hair, It is in her soul to have it. Yes also a woman can trim & cut their hair just as long as it is within reason.
