Get a new passport and to be on the safe side don't book your holiday till you have your new passport in your hand.
Many countries won't let you in unless your passport is good for at least 6 more months.
If you book a holiday and then don't have a valid passport you won't be able to go and you won't be able to claim on your holiday insurance for missing the trip.

do not think of so, thank you for 6 factors tho. Oh yeah, like janetlou mentioned, you're able to pay £10 each and every going thro passport administration in Turkey. be sure you do not provide them a £20 be conscious, as you will get no substitute. Have a £10 be conscious for each individual.

Some EU Countries will let EU citizens in on a recently expired, or soon to be expired passport. Britain for example. you could apply for a short term emergency passport I think.

Nope. Minimum time required for most countries is 6 months. You can fast track your application at participating Post Offices for a slightly enhanced fee.
