there is a gal in my gym...we look at ech other while working out....sometime she look at me thru mirrors....this is going on since 7 months....i want to talk to her...but my english is not that much good....i know that she likes me and if i somehow start talking to her, things will start....
is bad english a turn off????

there is another gal who stays in my area...we both stare at each other.....sometimes she turns arround 180 degrees to see me.....
the only problem is my english.....i can read...write....but m week in spoken english.....plzzz suggest....
i just can say that my english is not bad but comparatively, wid other guys of same age(24),its not good too....

it would be turnoff if english was your native language, but if it's your second language and you're learning, she will probably think it's cute.

If you are not 25 years of age, forget about every thing and study hard, play some and a must, but take advantage of the situation and enjoy your youth. It comes only once in your life time once gone it is gone.
You can always say hello to them find out their native language, if different or same it does not matter, tell them you are trying to improve your English so if they do not mind, You will try and talk to them in English of all you know they may be in the same boat. If you think they are very good at English then tell them to correct yours, and you will be glad to learn from them.
In the mean time get story books by English or American old school authors they wrote very classic King's and queen's English. The editors in olden days were very good and edited and corrected, and caught even the smallest misstates so by reading those book, you Will improve your English. Read it loud enough so you can understand. Try and pronounce the word correctly read it showily.
Go to library and star at the beginning with KG section and build up slowly. Rome was not built in a day.
Pratice reading loud and hear yourself.
Copy some ten lines from something, this will give you the writing practice.

No, bad english is not at all a turn off. But bad communication would be. What if her english was bad, would it turn you off ? I heard you say no. Okay, so if you can communicate, perhaps in Hindi, or in English, it is okay. Talk to her, without using too many complicated words, or trying to put an accent. Cos' that would really be a put off. Be yourself, communicate, and then since you are in Mumbai, you can communicate in Hindi too, if you want to...
You've been honest with your problem. While your problem has nothing to do with relationships, it would be good if you could work on it. Like reading more, anything that could help you with your vocabulary, correcting yourself, perhaps some sort of a group or classes where you could improve your talking....and explore more words to express what you need to talk. Do that. If this girl gets put off or no, you would atleast be trying to be better than what you are..

no, although speaking english is a good way of making a first impression becoz communicating is the first step to a relationship, i think it will not really be a turn off to that girl.
just express yourself honestly and be nice... but if u have some time, u cud practice speaking english so that you would develop confidence when u r communicating with anybody....

If a woman is already attracted to you and you are sweet, your accent probably will not turn her off. In fact, she may actually like it. Talk to her. Go up to her and just tell her that English is your second language. It is nothing to be ashamed of. You should be proud that you have learned such a difficult language and that you speak at keast 2 languages. TALK TO HER!! By the way, bad English IS a turnoff if it is the only language you speak.

Because you did not talked to them therefore the language is not the problem as yet. however may be they are not really interested in any relationship, just because a girl looks at you does not mean she wants you or loves you. may be her brother looks like you.

I dont think the bad english is a turn off, I think it may be the fact that you think your so hot that everbody is staring at you. Maybe they think you are conceited and are watching you stare at yourself in the mirror, or maybe you are paranoid.
