Actually, you cannot find a liquid that doesn't leave SOME residue...Even alcohol.....

But this is what you do.....
Yes, you can use Windex, or alcohol......But after wiping it off, you want to POLISH the STREAKS OFF.

That's nothing more than using a Cotton or Microfiber Cloth and going around in circles across any streaks.....

Army GI's know this process....the circular motion removes any "edges" of the chemical used for cleaning....so you can't see the streaks...if you can't see the streaks, they aren't there...RIGHT?

Theres a Plasma/LCD Cleaning Kit Called Monster Clean, it comes with a Micro Fiber Towel and another type of towel

if you are just dusting, then use a Swiffer or similar type of dusting material...

try not to use any liquids unless you are trying to clean something serious off of the screen (I agree with the previous post about any liquid can leave a residue, even alcohol)

if the screen is dirty because of other pollutants in your home, try to eliminate them (no smoking, get a room air filter, etc.)

Buy a streak free,oil free,wax free, static-free cleaner.

Big Screen Clean is whats it called.
