one thing you need to know if you wanna go to thailand in april, there is Songkarn Festival (water festival) around middle of the month so you need to book hotel before hand but if you just planning to be in Bangkok only I think it would have some place available.

Kumustaka. It need not be expensive to stay in Bangkok. You have Cebu Pacific Airlines that flies into Bangkok at a budget price. In Bangkok, there are many options for accommodation from backpackers to 5-star hotels. The price range varies a lot too.

But it seems like you are asking for a package deal. For this, you should be checking with tour companies to see what they an offer!

If you like, you can try to contact travel_experts@yahoo.com.ph to see if they have anything for you.

If you do a free and easy tour, you need not spend very much on food as it is cheap, and travel on the trains. I can tell you more if you like. You can look at www.tourismthailand.org for the attractions in Bangkok and I can tell you how to manage your own itinerary if you want to contact me, email is thaitourinfo@yahoo.com.
