I really really like them tbh. They look good and they are Toyotas.

Toyota is legendary for building superbly reliable cars. Its not surprising that most of the Arabic countries use Toyota vehicles.... cause Toyotas are reliable even in wretched conditions with sand storms and nasty potholed roads. If you just service a Toyota at the stated intervals (oil change ect), they usually keep on going... with many Toyota's clocking up hundreds of thousands of miles without problem.

Toyotas are usually low-maintenance too (eg.. very good for reliability). Also, like you say, great economy and also a great 4-star EuroNCAP rating for the Aygo.

A couple of points to note here: (but most cars at this review site have a long negative list of bad points)

If your seeking a small car which should prove to be highly reliable, safe, fun and cheap to run... well the Aygo looks ideal.

My only recommendation would be to try and get a good deal with your finance. You don't wanna pay more than you need to in APR.

I have a yaris and just before christmas it went in to be repaired (someone went into the back of me) I was giving an aygo as a courtesy car and i was impressed. It was basic but if thats what u want then you would b happy. I'll be honest I thought the seats were a little uncomfortable to begin with but u do get used to it. The dials are hard to get used to as mine is all digital but its things u would get used to. The stero was better then the one i had and it came with air con! not bad for £7k!
My bf loved the aygo and said he would trade his car in for one. But i'm not so sure. Yes it was a nice car but nothing can beat the yaris!
I cant say the repairs on the yaris are cheap, I've just had a service and it's cost just over £1000.00 and its only 4 yrs old. but if its a car your only going to keep for a few years go for it. Go take one for a test drive!

The Toyota Aygo is the same car as the Peugeot 107 and the Citreon C1. Out of the three the Citreon is the cheapest to buy.The only difference is price.

The aygo is a good choice but I would also consider the Fiat Panda which is a very capable little car, cheap to run, fun, practical, tough, proven mechanicals and cheeky looks.
