i want to get a tongue piercing because my girl friends say it would look preety "sexy" and it would look good on me and i think so too. but i just want to know what you LADIES think about guys with tongue piercings???

it depends on whose opinion truly matters to you. i'm a person who dresses extreme and listens to hard core punk and industrial music. i love funky hair colors, mohawks, chains and bondage. i personally love pierced tongues. mine used to be, i had it up to a 6gauge before i took it out. the problem was i played with it too much, and it did eventually bother my teeth and gums...i had it in for like four years, though. if you're some sort of wanna be look at me i'm so cool guy, then don't bother. we laugh at people like you. if not, then you should be able to make up your own mind. these prissy little girls -- and indeed most people, will most likely not enjoy the sight (and feel) of a pierced tongue. you decide.

I think that they are very sexy but you should get if pierced father to the back that the front because that way people won't see it all the time. Some jobs won't let you work there if you have it but if it is pierced farther to the back then you ever see it unless you stick it out or Someone is looking in your mouth when you talk.

Girls probably think the same things about guys with tongue piercings as guys think of girls with them.
What you should be asking yourself is if you CARE what people in general think (which you obviously do because you asked the question).
Everyone will have judgements. That's society's right whether it's justifiable to judge someone solely because they chose to poke a hole in their tongue I personally don't think so. It's whether or not you're comfortable with the labels and stereotypes narrow minded people will place on you.
Be aware that piercings have a negative connotation and they place you in that negative context whether you're a golden child or a delinquent. People don't care who you really are because you have a piece of metal in your mouth you're automatically assuming the role of that latter even if it's not true.
Now, are you comfortable with who are to get this piercing and are you going to be able to deal with people's bull because it will fly as we've already seen from some answers previously given.

Yes, broken, chipped teeth with weak enamel is sexy, very sexy.
Blah. I don't care for tongue piercings, though if people get them, whatever..its not my mouth. I just still cannot see past all the horrible oral damage I've seen in my life and it makes me cringe. I don't think you should get it, I'm sure there are other piercings that would be more complimentary to your features. I love piercings a lot, just not really that one :-\

personaly i find it rather sexy, but it depends on what you look like too. i think tongue percing are only sexy on guys who have other piercings too like their lip
but go for it and get your tongue pierced just make sure its professional

hopefully you aren't going to be showing it off all the time, and playing with it with the thought that it will look sexy. but, i do think men with tongue piercings are in fact sexy. plus, there are little tickler accessories you can wear during 'no no' time.

no no no!!!!! ugh, it will not look "sexy", especially if you were to get food stuck in it. my advice?? use the money to buy your girlfriend something that she will always appreciate for years to come, and not a tongue piercing that she may get sick off in a year or so time

I teased my bf about getting one, but he can't have it in while working, so there's really no point. But I think a guy with a tongue ring is super sexy.
Maybe I'm weird, but so be it; that's hot!!

i think it would look good, loads of my guy mates have it done and its certainly not gay! personally i dont like very big studs in the tongue coz it looks like a giant ball floating in the mouth. also as for your job you can buy clear studs, but some people you can hardly notice they have it done. i think you should go for it, just make sure you go to a good piercer

Creepy. As a young woman, I don't like to see guys with tongue piercings (or piercings of any kind for that matter...)
Please, becareful what things you do to your body (tatoos, piercings, etc). Although it's not fair that the world judges us all by our appearance, the sad fact is that it DOES judge us by our appearance...and you putting a piercing in your tongue, isn't the best impression you want the world to have of you. You won't be judged in the most positive way.
So whether you and your girlfriend think that a tongue piercing would be sexy, or a good idea...or whatnot...really think about what your doing. Think about your future. Your future job. Think about the kind of man you may be later on in life. Do you think your future employers will have an appreciation for your tongue piercing? When you get a little older, do you think you'll still want that piercing? Probably not.
I personally don't think you should do it. But if you REALLY want to, no one can stop you. I hope you make the right choice, regardless of what others say.
But, think about it long and hard before you do it.
