I'm quitting drinking caffeine after lunchtime and the withdrawls are not good: sleepy, a little dopey and any other applicable dwarf would be the best way to describe me.

Help - what kind of energy boost can I get without going back to my sweet beautiful addiction to caffeine?

Two choices. Either keep drinking, or wait until the withdrawals subside. Getting off any drug is a time consuming, patience trying effort. The only thing I can suggest is getting in top health through diet and exercise. It seems to help just about anything.

You don't stop drinking it all at once. What you do is you limit how much you drink a day. Like if you usually have 5 cans then the next day you have only 4 cans and so on. If you do that then it helps you avoid headaches being a little dopey and being sleepy.

Don't completely quit at once. In the afternoon when you usually have a cup of coffee, have half a cup. In a few days cut down to a third of a cup, et. This method will also prevent the head-ache withdrawals. Good Luck
