Depending on where you live, there are various places you need to report it.
Start with the credit card companies and make sure the accounts are canceled.
Get a copy of your credit report and dispute anything that is on there that relates to the credit cards you don't have. Place a fraud alert on your account with all three credit reporting agencies.
Most states now have identity theft help. Start with your state attorney generals office. A lot of them have a link to report fraud or identity theft.
Make a police report. The police can also help you with any other agencies you need to report to.
Go to the Federal Trade Commission website (link below) and do everything on there that it tells you to do.
I'm in the U.S. so I'm telling you stuff to do here so if you're in a different country, the places you need to report to might be different.
