So let me get this straight. Owls sit around with one eye open?!?!?!?

um, no. They can have only one eye open, or two eyes, or none, but they don't just sit around all day with one open. They sleep just like we do, they just do it durring the day. They can also spook really easily, so you may think it had it's eye open, but really not.
