It went the way of the fifty cent ice cream cone of formative years. Of all the formative years memories, why white canines poo? Why no longer bear in mind the time your mom took you out of school early so which you should bypass see Bambi on the videos. Or your first kiss. no longer white canines poo!!!! White canines poo is poo that has in particular disintegrated aside from the stuff that grow to be greater durable for the canines to digest. human beings p.c.. up poo greater in many circumstances than they used to, and canines food is in many circumstances greater digestible than it grow to be interior the previous days.

White (ahem) 'poo' was when it had gone dry and old. But now all dog owners have to pick up thier lovely dogs doo-doo. Failure in doing so can result in a fine if caught. I think that may be why. Lets not forget neighbours who live close by to dog owners, may report it if they see it left etc.

I am a dog owner, always pick it up. (euw!)

Thanks for the laugh - I spat my salad all over my desk! LOL!

I dunno, thats a really valid point. :-|

I remeber when I was kid you'd see white pooh on the playing field but now, it is no more.

I thought it was the sun drying it out but I think its - I found this...

This article on cat food the mystery of why you don't see white dog poo anymore is solved. The increase in vegetable protein means you don't get them anymore...

...the characteristic white dog turds of yesteryear are rarely found; they were caused by weathering of dog excrement rich in bone meal.

Pointless, but interesting. The article is quite interesting and also comes with a legal definition of 'meat'. Scary! I know meat contains some pretty weird things but rectum, udder and testicles? I think I'll pass on those sausages at lunch today.

Interesting Sh*t eh? (scuze the pun!)

They no longer put the colour in there that they used to allow the dog to whiten his teeth while eating. This wasn't absorbed by the dog hence white dog poo. Any body that says about ground up bones doesn't know what they are talking about.

Because the standard of dog food has risen. There used to be very malnutritioned dogs lacking essential vitamins, thus white poo.

You might want to check out the answers to the same question asked a few days ago. Basically dog diets have changed, so less bone included.
