They're just clogged pores. It has nothing to do with what you eat. They're not caused by chocolate, and it's not just teenagers who have them, some people always have them. They don't even have anything to do with being dirty or oily, they're just something that some people have to deal with.
There are a couple of things that help reduce them. Use a good, neutral soap-free face wash, like Purpose, and lather it on longer than you usually do. Most people just slap it on and rinse it off. You should keep it on your face for a full minute, so it can get into the pores and clear them out. A clay mask can help draw out some of the clog and shrink up the pores, and those little Biore strips really do help pull the blackheads out. Be sure to use oil free moisturizer, and don't be too skimpy with it. Keeping your skin moisturized means it has to produce less oil to stay lubricated.
But don't squeeze! And don't use body soap, or any other really drying cleanser on your face, or eventually your skin will start producing more oil to compensate, and it will actually get worse.

Biology guy is almost right. You do need to clean your face thoroughly, and regularly, but you shouldn't use a strong soap to do it. You still have skin around those blackheads. Setting it on fire might get rid of the blackheads, but you'll be left with other problems. Try using a gentle soap like Dove. It cleans well enough to rid your skin of dirt, but doesn't dry out the rest of your skin. You may also want to add a skin toner to remove traces of dirt trapped in oil that soap misses. Blackhead are a lot easier to prevent and remove than pimples because they are open and are purely the result of dirt and oil you let accumulate on your skin surface. Yes, that's right. They are caused by dirt and oil. Despite what some people here may tell you, there is no black subtance produced by the body that settles in the pores of some peoples faces. Wash your face with warm water to soften the dirt. Then take a CLEAN washcloth and wrap the tips of your fingers with it. You can then gently try to express the plug of dirt out of your pore. If it won't come out easily, apply warm compresses to it to soften it up more, then try to gently remove it again. Never squeeze so hard that you break your skin. You can get an infection that way. Keep your face clean, and you should see a big reduction in the number of blackheads you get.

A black head is a clogged pore. The best thing for you to do is get a facial scub (St. Ives apricot facial scub) works well and is very cheap. Hope that helps. Also drink lots of water . This will help keep your skin clear.

Eating alot of chocloate causes it when you're young, plus if your a teen you will just need to deal with it. Try cleaning your face alot, as much as possible, plus put on Noxema on your face alot if you want to avoid getting them in the future, it's the best way to not get them.

They are simply caused from having oily skin. Washing more frequently may help you to reduce the oil on your epidermis - This is more common when you are young verses when you are older.
Try using a strong soap like Dial. It dries my skin out and may help your skin
