can u give us a bit more infor.
i not sure if this is the right answer 4 u or not but if is older woman is that maybe they don't want u to think that they r old.if that they r techer a they role to hide it.income i don't know.

A woman would hide her age and income because men are as a general rule, shallow and have problems with older, richer or smarter women.

why do you need to know anyone's income? age ... maybe I can see why you would want to know... but if you are hung up on the income thing, then I'm glad there is an option to hide it.
