No, it will leave a bad impression about you. It is not advisable to force people to do things as it may have a negative reaction.

do you want to give a little more info or is it private? s/he may be a manipulative person through insecurity or being a bully or whatever but it's hard to give a concise answer when you've provided so little info.
No one should force anyone to do what they want, and if they do it when just having met you, you should take that as a warning sign and distance yourself from this person before you get hurt or entangled in their web.

Why not ! is a sign of how true and sincere of the friendship. He/she may be sincere to you but how about you ? Thus, a request of what he/she want, is normal and usual.
