registration sticker replacement?

I just received my new reg sticker and in the process of putting it on my car I accidentally ripped it. Does the RMV replace these stickers if requested?

Good Morning,

Yes !! Take the torn sticker to the local Department of Motor Vehicles Office and they will give you a new one.

wow...they're pretty hard to rip...Why not just put the pieces together?.... I don't think they will give replacements without some type of charge... as long as you have a valid registration the plate sticker with a rip will work just fine.
