When do you think the world and George Bush will wake up and realise that if you havent got a planet to live on - theres no point in making money?
This whole idea of making money being more important than climate change is complete lanacy- how can you let the world destruct and aim for a future at the same time?
how can Bush put the economy a head for saving the planet

Actually he's not putting the economy ahead of climate change.
When climate hits we'll be spending hundreds of billions of dollars relocating people away from low lying areas and replacing infrastructure lost. Also revamping agriculture and building new irrigation systems to deal with changing temperature and precipitation patterns.
This will be happening all around the world, as people struggle to simply feed themselves. The result will be a worldwide economic depression that will make the 1930s seem like a picnic.
So actually he's just being terribly short sighted.

There is a problem with lessening the causes of climate change and that's money. Another thing is, it's hard to convince people to change for the better. But if we look at it, if we use more environmentally safe products, we would be saving more. Actually, more business giants are focusing more on how they can maximize efficiency and turn to more efficient alternatives. Not only do they save the environment, they also save money. The problem is changing because you have to change everything which requires money.
I don't know about Bush, but all I can say is that the time when he wakes up is when he realizes he's been sleeping in a fiery furnace that what would have become of earth in the (not so distant) future.

The problem is deeper than Bush. Pretty much, after the Industrial Revolution of the 1800's and farming (cows produce methane gas), the earth's ecosystem was shot . Unfortunately, the earth has to pay the price for progress.

Sounds like u have a lot of education to get . I haven't heard of any one that had 50 billion that could make it rain or the rain to stop.It is totally out of the power of man to change these things. I an 76 years old and the weather is about normal . If Bush has that power I don't know about it. So get to studying it is your responsibility to do something to correct the problem.

don't u know Bush & his cronies intend 2 colonise space & won't have any need 4 this Planet?
i wish i was joking but he knows his money will buy him uncontaminated food, fresh water & fresh air!
he knows he'll b fine, stuff general public.
the man's a nutter & always has been.
BUT it's better late than never, he's starting 2 realise that his lack of attention 2 global warming & CO emissions is starting 2 make him look like a BIG HYPOCRITE, shame is that most of input, will b left 2 his successor 2 worry about.
