the Devil tricked them both. Islam doesn't say it was only Eve's fault, it wasn't only Adam's fault either. they were both tricked by the Devil.

When Adam and Eve entered the Garden, God said "Eat freely thereof, both of you, whatever you may wish; but do not approach this one tree, lest you become wrongdoers." This symbolic tree is designated in the Bible as "The Tree of Life" and "The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" (Genesis U, Vs. 9), while in the above Quranic account Satan speaks of it as "The Tree of Eternal Life". On the other hand, the Qur'an tells us nothing about the real nature of that "Tree" beyond pointing out that it was Satan who described it as the "tree of immortality" in Surah 20, Vs. 120; and so we may assume that the forbid- den tree is simply an allegory of the limits which the Creator has set to man's desires and actions.
Vs. 36: But Satan convinced them to trespass God's limits set upon them and God reduced their state of being to a lower one-from blessedness and innocence to one where Adam and Eve would live with capabilities of discerning between right and wrong and thus choosing his way of life. In the deeper sense, the allegory of the Fall of Adam and Eve does not describe a retrogressive event but a new stage of development; an opening of doors to moral considerations.
Vs. 37: God is Most merciful and Most kind. He did not send Man- kind to earth in a totally helpless state but with Divine Guidance and forgiveness to Adam and his offspring. Though God punished them for their disobedience, His love for them was as strong as before they erred.
Vs. 38: God comforts Adam by stating to him that those who follow his guidance will never have reason to fear their futures because this will be their refuge and will give them peace.

There's no original sin, because Adam and Eve never really existed. Its a story made up by a naked guy and a naked girl, under an apple tree.

They both disobeyed God - thus both shared in the responsbility. But their sin doesn't mean we are born with sin. Every baby is born pure and sinless. Adam and Eve's mistake was THEIR mistake. Not ours. They own it, not us. In Islam, every person is responsibile for their sins individually. It's very logical.

The idea was to teach both of them that there will be the devil to tempt them into sin and that when they go to Earth not repeat the same mistakes and keep away from things that God has forbidden.

The story goes that they ate fruit from the firbidden tree of knowledge after being tempted by "satan" disguised as a snake. The problem isn't that they ate the fruit but rather that they were tempted by "satan" into disobeying god.
