Depending on what state you live in, he could claim that you are "common law married". He would have to go to court and fight for half of your combined assets. Just so you know, in Texas you only have to live together for 6 months to be considered common law married. However in Arkansas, it is 7 years before you can claim it. I'd suggest checking into your marriage laws or speaking with a divorce attorney. Many divorce attorneys offer free consultations.

no he is just a bf the only way he gets half of you stuff is if he takes you to court and wins highly unlikely but that is the only way he will get anything unless you give it to him you are just bf and gf you are not married so it in titles him to not much of anything he didn't have when he got with you
